TRAINING PROGRAM

Day I Morning session: 8.30 - 12.30 1. Theories of oral-motor therapy. 2. Oral-motor therapy: why, when, who?

Afternoon session: 13.30 - 16.00 1. Muscle activity necessary for clarity of speech. 2. Persistent oral activity (habits): thumb sucking, pacifier, teeth grinding, salivation. 3. Persistent oral activity: what is the most common and how to eliminate it. 4. Review of issues related to feeding and how feeding is related to speech.

Day II Morning session: 8.30 - 12.30 1. Therapy: muscle exercises to improve speech clarity. 2. Exercises to support diaphragmatic grading and respiratory support: "it's not." whistle but sequence of movement. 3. Improving velopharyngeal function using muscle therapy, interventions oral-motor skills.

Afternoon session: 13.30 - 16.00 1. Mandibular exercises - jaw stability necessary for the mobility of the lips and tongue. 2. Lip movements necessary for clarity of speech. 3. Tongue movements necessary for clarity of speech. 4. Planning a therapy program.

IMPORTANT:

1. The training is covered by an accreditation program in the USA, students after completing it receive a certain number of points which count in educational programs of speech therapists in many countries.

2. The organizer reserves the right to change the price of the training (for people before purchase) in case of an increase in the dollar to PLN exchange rate and to change the prices of other components of the training.

3. The organizer reserves the right to cancel the training in the event of failure to register a sufficient number of participants to cover the costs. In such a case, the entire amount paid for the training will be refunded.

4. The organizer provides simultaneous translation to polish, (but the technology used allow to listen in original), speech therapy aids for exercises during the workshops and a textbook. Please point a language version of it.

5. The organizer provides basic catering during the workshops.
