Lateral feeding is especially recommended for patients with a prominent interdental position of the tongue. A special technique forces it back, but it's good to have a feeding tool designed just for this purpose.

It is the SIDE SPOON SENSI® GRIP. It has two incarnations. It functions as a tip for the Sensi® vibrator and as a spoon on an ergonomic handle.
