Silicone finger pad- Infant toothbrush, with texturing in the shape of tiny (approx. 2 mm) bumps;
used for massage to soothe symptoms of teething, as the so-called the first brush.
In speech therapy, it is used for various forms of massage, including sensory massage.
Massage with INFADENT Americans SLP's have long been successfully recommending to parents whose children have problems with tongue elevation.
We massage the tongue in front of the tongue with circular movements, while pressing.
After the tongue massage, transfer the touch to the palate for a moment.
This kind of massage is a preparation of the sensory system for the tactile stimuli within the oral cavity, thus very functional in daily feeding practice.
